First of all I would like to thank Mr. Halilhodžić for representing rack of communication in JFA and also in Japanese society. I would like to analyze what it came from.
Japanese tend to listen, even to those who have self-centered way of vision and thinking, but once losing his interest on the speaker it is over. That is why Japanese don’t care about debating. He listens until he knows the people, he makes a comment and it’s over. Avoiding debate, not sharing table is up to decision maker, they can choose who they talk with. When there is a congress, everything is already done before we are actually talking, we call it 根回しnemawashi, which tend to characterize our decision making, politics. Talking is not important in
like in old Japanese films of Yakuza. Japan
Now the international society wants Japanese to join the table but we try not attend , try to be a hermit 隠者 injya is one tradition of Japan, which also characterize Japanese way of thinking.
Every foreigners are welcomed with their new value they can supply to Japan. But if they do not know how Japanese communicate, he is slowly rejected,.Maybe it is assimilation or integration and it is also Japanese culture. Quarrels are forbidden, there is certain identities or self expressions but unless it doesn’t go over the society, or even a small society. It is likely to call it totalitarianism, but it is also our culture,和, “a harmony”.
Malgré son paternalism, Vahid Halilhodžić etait bon père pour certain joueurs Japonais mais le Société Japonais est plutôt maternelle.
